Founded in 1957, the Dublin Theatre Festival has grown to be Ireland’s largest and best known Festival and continues to lead the way in the presentation of outstanding Irish and international work. Each year the Festival brings tens of thousands into the city centre, enlivening pubs, restaurants, hotels and theatres. In 2011 we presented over 554 events with 28 productions in 25 venues which has been seen by over 50,000 Dubliners and tourists.
