Mark O' Halloran

Mark O'Halloran is a writer / actor and is from Ennis Co. Clare, Ireland. His first screenplay, Adam & Paul, was shot in 2004. He also wrote the screenplay for the movie Garage which premiered at Directors Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival 2007, where it was awarded the CICAE award for best film. Mark has also written a television series, Prosperity, which was broadcast in Autumn 2007. Mark has been nominated for numerous awards including a European Film Award for the screenplay of Adam & Paul, Irish Film and Television Awards where he won for both 'best screenplay' and 'best TV writer' 2007. He also won the London Evening Standard award for Best Screenplay Perdido Amor is currently in pre-production and his latest stageplay Trade will be given it's world premiere at this year's Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival.
